Background:
I began my professional life modelling behavioural decisions in animals, moved on to developing provincial fisheries database and support systems for the MNRF and since 1990 have been a research scientist with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. My research includes the fish life history project (a cooperative program between MNRF and Univ. of Toronto) and various projects on the calibration of fisheries assessment gear and large scale surveys of fishing effort and sustainability.
